Syrian opposition ready to announce truce
Syria's opposition has agreed to a two- to three-week truce on condition that Russia stops its air strikes, Reuters reports with reference to a source close to the talks.
It is reported that a truce will be supported by all parties, except for the Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusrah groups.
According to Reuters, the issue is now being discussed between Russia and the United States, TASS reports.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov confirmed that Russia and the Syrian opposition are consulting about a ceasefire.
