Syrian talks start in Vienna

The second multilateral meeting on Syria is beginning in Vienna. It is attended by the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, and the UN Secretary General's special envoy on Syria, Staffan de Mistura, as well as representatives of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran.

In total, the negotiations involve the Foreign Ministers of nearly 20 countries, representatives of the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the European Union, reports.
