U.S. offers Belarus all the oil it needs
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has told Minsk that Washington can provide it with all the oil it needs.
After a meeting with Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei in Minsk, Pompeo suggested that the U.S. could provide Belarus with oil at "competitive prices".
"We're the biggest energy producer in the world, and all you have to do is call us," BBC cited him as saying.
At the same time, the Secretary of State said Belarus should satisfy a raft of conditions to access U.S. market. "WTO accession, increased private sector development, and legal and regulatory reforms will all help Belarus unlock its trade potential," Pompeo stressed,
