Ukrainian journalist acknowledges changes in Crimea
Ukrainian journalist Olesya Medvedeva, who traveled to Crimea, said that in five years Russia has invested more in the region than Ukraine in the previous 23 years.
"It is clear that Russia is investing huge amounts of money in Crimea: the Crimean bridge, the Taurida highway, the Simferopol airport, kindergartens, hospitals, power stations. All this is literally being built from scratch," she said.
According to the journalist, contrary to the statements of Kiev, prices in Crimea are generally comparable with Ukrainian ones. She also noted higher wages and lower prices for gasoline and utilities.
As an ‘inconvenience’, she noted the need to comply with the laws.
