Visa-free entry for foreign spectators during FIFA World Cup 2018 approved
Russia's government has approved a bill that allows foreign nationals to enter Russia without a visa, using a personalized spectator card for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup.
"It is proposed to establish the same period for visa-free entry for the spectators of the championship on Russian territory [using] a personalized spectator card both in paper and electronic forms. This period will begin 10 days before the date of the first match of the championship and will end on the day of the last match of the championship," the statement reads.
The bill also proposes to provide a free pass on railway transport for the accredited representatives of mass media on the basis of an identity document and accreditation card, according to the statement.
