Vladimir Shulikin: medals that we won are historical for Azerbaijani gymnastics
Silver medal of the European Championships in synchronized trampoline competitions among women became a historical medal for Azerbaijani gymnastics, coach of Azerbaijani team Vladimir Shulikin said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"I'm happy we took this second place, and now we can say that it's time to take the first place. Of course, this is a historical medal - the first silver medal in synchronized trampoline competitions at the European Championships - it's very prestigious. Now we will continue to work to get the gold medal. In order to achieve this, we have to increase complexity of our performances," Vladimir Shulikin said.
"I think the entire team will improve by the World Cup in Russia, which will be held in November in St. Petersburg. We raised the bar with this silver medal, now we have to maintain this level. We continue to improve," coach of Azerbaijan team said.
