Vladivostok-Moscow flight lands in Khabarovsk after anonymous warning
A plane of Russia’s Aeroflot, Airbus A-330, en route from Vladivostok to Moscow made an emergency landing in Khabarovsk after an anonymous security warning, the press service of Aeroflot airline said.
"Flight SU1703 (Vladivostok-Moscow) landed in Khabarovsk airport to go through checks after an anonymous security warning. After the checks, the plane will take off for Moscow," the press service said.
The airport’s emergency team is working on site; emergency services have arrived who will inspect the aircraft; baggage and passengers will undergo additional inspection, Sputnik reported.
A spokesperson for Aeroflot said that the plane landed after receiving an anonymous call about a security threat onboard. After the necessary checks the plane will fly to Moscow. The time of their departure for Moscow has not yet been determined.
