Washington promises not to stand in way of permissible business with Iran
The US State Department spokesman John Kirby said that Washington isn't going to stand in the way of permissible business under the JCPOA with Iran.
"I can’t speak to this specific report regarding Boeing. We’re not going to stand in the way of permissible business under the JCPOA with Iran, and we are going to do what we can to meet our commitments as long as Iran continues to meet their nuclear-related commitments," Kirby said.
State Department spokesman also said he could not address whether Boeing has obtained a license to sell commercial aircraft to Iran, but said the Iran deal allows licensing of commercial aircraft sales on a case-by-case basis.
