White House: Tehran may resume work on nuclear weapons
Iran may resume its work on nuclear weapons, the US new national security strategy, published at the White House website, says.
Iran "is developing more capable ballistic missiles and has the potential to resume its work on nuclear weapons that could threaten the United States and our partners," the document says.
According to the national security strategy, Tehran continues to "perpetuate the cycle of violence in the region, causing grievous harm to civilian populations".
The document also accuses the Iranian regime of "sponsoring terrorism around the world".
