Kyrgyzstan suggests establishing union with Russia and Turkey similar to EU

Russia, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan should consider establishing a union similar to the EU. This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev, ITAR-TASS reports.

He said the EU is hardly likely to welcome Turkey and Russia, which is why the countries should consider establishing a trilateral organization. Atambayev believes that the union could be based on economic cooperation. In the future such an organization could gather other states and become a major regional political force.
