Armenia’s Republican Party gets additional five votes

Recount of votes for elections to the Yerevan Council of Elders at polling station N1, initiated by the Armenian National Congress, has resulted in five additional votes for the Republican Party, Aysor.am reports.

The Chief of the General Staff of Georgia, Vakhtang Kapanadze, has visited Armenia, where he met with his Armenian counterpart Yuri Khachaturov, the press service of the Armenian Defense Minister reports. The sides discussed the process and prospects of Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the sphere of defense and praised the current level of bilateral cooperation, News Armenia reports.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in The Hague that the Alliance was worried about the rising tensions in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He emphasized that the conflict had no military solution. The NATO was supporting the OSCE Minsk Group and encouraging peace talks, the secretary general added.
