Georgia to join South-Eastern Europe Defense Ministerial
Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania said at the South-Eastern Europe Defense Ministerial that Georgia will become a full-fledged member of the structure, Trend reports.
Procedures to join it will take about a year. The minister called it another big step towards integration in the NATO.
Georgia has been an observer at the ministerial since 2006. The structure serves to enforce security in the region and stimulate integration in the NATO.
