Turkey houses over 600,000 Syrian refugees

Mustafa Aydogdu, spokesman of the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate of Turkey (AFAD), said that there were over 600,000 Syrian refugees in Turkey, only 201,000 of whom were living in camps, ITAR-TASS reports.

About 100,000 of the refugees live in Istanbul. Their tents in parks and green zones may cause major problems in the winter.
