126 illegal migrants deported from Dagestan
The Illegal Migrant Operation has been concluded in Dagestan and resulted in the deportation of 126 migrants, 110 of whom were from Vietnam and the rest from Uzbekistan, SKFO.ru reports.
Lyudmila Magomedova, spokeswoman of the Dagestani Directorate of the Federal Migration Service, said that the fourth and final stage of the operation had been accomplished on November 19-28. 226 inspections were made and 573 administrative violations were registered. Fines totaled about 1.2 million rubles, 95% of which have been paid.
A criminal case was initiated against 21-year-old Jeykhun Shamilov (Azerbaijan) for using forged documents, illegal acquisition and expenditures. He was detained on a Moscow-Baku train between the Mamedkala-Derbent stations.
Officers of the immigration control section of the directorate organized a scrupulous inspection. They say that 36 foreigners should be deported.
