Azerbaijan and India to expand economic cooperation

Delegates at the third session of the Azerbaijani-Indian intergovernmental commission for trade-economic and science cooperation held in India have decided to form a joint energy group, Trend reports.Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Guseynguli Bagirov heads the Azerbaijani delegation at the commission.Union Minister of State for Trade and Commerce and Industries Dr. E M S Natchippan said that the formation of the working group for energy should go faster.The sides agreed to study prospects for cooperation in alternate and renewable energy sources, petroleum, chemical industry and pipeline construction.
