Free Democrats leave Georgian Dream

 

The party of the former Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Alasania, Our Georgia – Free Democrats, has refused to cooperate with the Georgian Dream coalition and thus left the ruling coalition. As a result, Georgian Dream has lost its parliamentary majority with 73 seats, instead of the 75 necessary to pass laws.At the same time, the Free Democrats aren't going to cooperate with the opposition United National Movement created by Mikheil Saakashvili.
