Western Georgia calculates damage from disaster


Damage caused by the disaster in Western Georgia totals 8 million lari. Administration head of Zugdidi Tengiz Shanava said that the Zugdidi Municipality had damage worth 5 million lari, Georgia Online reports.

Damage is yet to be calculated on 100,000 hectares of crop lands. Administration head of Tsalenjikh Mamuka Kardava said that floods caused 3 million lari of damage.

Damage in the Tskhorotskuysky District totals 300,000 lari. Damage at the Khobsky District has not been calculated yet.

Georgian president organized a special commission for Samegrelo.
