Azerbaijani ambassador says votes for Russian Eurovision singer disappeared
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbulogly told Vestnik Kavkaza that Azerbaijan had given Russia 10 points at the Eurovision Song Contest, but the votes had disappeared for unknown reasons. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev ordered the incident to be investigated.
The ambassador admitted that not only Russians, but Azerbaijanis too, were shocked by lack of votes for Russian singer Dina Garipova.
Votes are being recounted. The Public Television will comment on the problem this evening.
