Turkmenistan organizes special flight to Mecca for pilgrims

Turkmenkhovayellary, the state airlines of Turkmenistan, organized a special flight of 188 pilgrims to Mecca and Medina (Saudi Arabia) on a Boeing-757, Trend reports.

Turkmenistan has been sponsoring pilgrims' visits to Mecca since 2001.

400 residents of Kabardino-Balkaria will make the hajj this year, said Kabardino-Balkarian Deputy Mufti Khizir Misirov, coordinating the hajj.
