The spot for the construction of an Armenian temple has been blessed on the Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan of the Russian and Novo-Nakhchivan Eparchy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, said at the harrowing ceremony that the temple will immortalize the memory of soldiers and victims of WWI and WWII, TASS reports.The temple will be located in the Victory Park, on the crossing of the Alley of Memory and the Alley of Young Heroes. It will consist of a small church, a museum dedicated to Armenians killed in the two world wars, according to the Archbishop.The cleric added that the temple will cover 500 square meters. It will be about 20 meters high. The construction will be concluded within a year.The Victory Park has an Orthodox Christian temple, a mosque and a synagogue. A Buddhist stupa is under construction. The Armenian temple will conclude the ensemble.
