European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger believes decisions regarding gas pipelines bypassing Ukraine, i.e. Nord Stream and South Stream, are secondary compared to the need to secure transportation of Russian gas across Ukraine, the Kyiv Post reports on Sunday.
