Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev today signed document confirming Vladimir Yakunin's resignation as the president of the Russian Railways public corporation.
Sochi has been using Lastochka trains to transport passengers from the train station and Adler station to the airport since May 1.Lastochka will replace the Aeroexpress trains. The remaining Aeroexpress trains will continue working according to the deal with the Russian Railways.

Russian Railways (RR) has concluded the first project for electrification of the Tabriz-Azarshahr Railway. RR Chief Vladimir Yakunin attended the ceremony of launching the railway, RIA Novosti reports.The electrified railway is about 46 km long and has 5 stations.
