Abdullatipov: We have practically cleared Dagestan of militants
The head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, said today at a conference that about 40 members of illegal armed groups continue to hide in the Dagestani forests.
"Hundreds were killed, hundreds have fled. We have almost cleared Dagestan," RIA Novosti quotes Abdulatipov.
Earlier, the head of the republic noted that the theme of the fight against terrorism, with which Russian President Vladimir Putin began his address to the Federal Assembly, is of paramount importance.
