Almaty Anti-Corruption Service calls on officials to prefer charity over company parties
Almaty Anti-Corruption Service called on officials not to hold lush and high-profile New Year's company parties, but instead provide assistance to the poor. The corresponding statement was made at a briefing by the first deputy head of the city department, Daniyar Taumurat.
According to him, the service itself also abandoned the idea of a company party. "Instead, we want to do good deeds, to present New Year's gifts for the poor," Sputnik Kazakhstan quotes him as saying.
