Anti-Russian sanctions harm Europe, Aksenov says
A decision of the Council of the European Union to extend the anti-Russian sanctions for another six months harms Europe itself, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, who got to the first EU sanctions list, said.
”The European Union tries to punish Crimeans with sanctions for their free choice made in March 2014,” he wrote on Facebook. According to Aksenov, this policy is unfair, stupid and destructive. It harms Europe itself and undermines the credibility of the European institutions."
