Armenian Health Ministry: volunteers to get Russia's Covid-19 vaccine
A group of Armenian volunteers will be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus with Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine, healthcare ministry spokesperson Alina Nikoghosyan said.
Russian health minister Mikhail Murashko handed over samples of the vaccine to his Armenian counterpart during the recent trip to Yerevan, Sputnik Armenia recalled.
"We have received only few samples and they will be tested on several volunteers," Nikoghosyan added.
On August 11, Russia registered the world's first vaccine against the novel coronavirus, dubbed Sputnik V.
