Armenian ambassador to Ukraine decides to resign
Armenia’s ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan has tendered a resignation application, saying on his Facebook page that his previous requests to resign had been declined by the country’s president.
"The thing is that the situation in Armenia has changed radically and I believe that younger diplomats should be provided with opportunities to rise and fulfill themselves. I hope that this time my request will be satisfied," ARKA cited Manukyan as saying.
His latest request was sent to Yerevan in May. Manukyan served in that capacity two full terms, he was appointed to the post in 2010.
