Armenian health ministry warns of flue threat
Armenia’s healthy ministry reported the growing number of people who have caught the flue and called on risk-category people not to avoid vaccination.
"Armenian laboratories identified А(H1N1), a variety of flue which targets especially children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with chronic illnesses," ARKA cited the statement as saying.
The ministry added that flue course can be either light or heavy, and therefore even sniffles should prompt people to visit doctors, especially those from in risk groups, no ward of complications, such as bronchitis and pneumonia.
The health ministry is calling on people to visit medical centers for vaccinations.
