Armenian politician calls on Yerevan to break up with Moscow
Ex-deputy of the Armenian parliament Azat Arshakyan made an appeal today to Nikol Pashinyan's government to limit political relations with Russia. Thus, he reacted to the Russian position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict’s settlement.
According to him, human rights are violated in Russia, and therefore, Armenia should not maintain relations with it. “Let those who have brought Armenia into the same military bloc with Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan understand this. These countries are now making harsh statements against Armenia, which means that their interference [in the current hostilities] will only harm us”, Arshakyan said.
