Azerbaijan’s higher education switches to training of activity types, not professions
The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan has determined the main directions of the country’s higher education development, abc reports, abc.az reports.
At the meeting of the Caspian-European Club (CEIBC) Education Minister Mikail Jabbarov stated that the higher education system should be developed in the integrated form together with the labour market.
‘‘Above all, the higher education system should be flexible and provide conditions for further mastering of 7-8 types of activities, but not professions," the minister said.
A range of development banks are ready support to Azerbaijan’s reform in the sphere of higher education with the higher education reform.
