Biden announces his desire to meet with Erdogan after anti-Turkish provocation
A senior White House official said today that US President Joe Biden wants to personally meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It comes after Biden’s provocative wording "Armenian genocide" in relation to the 1915 tragic events in the Ottoman Empire, promoted by Armenian nationalists.
It is proposed to held a meeting during the NATO summit scheduled for June. According to Reuters, the official stressed that Biden "seeks to interact with his Turkish counterpart."
