Border guard helicopter extinguishes forest fire in Western Georgia

The helicopter is involved in extinguishing a forest fire in the Racha-Lechkhumi region, the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia informs.

A border police helicopter took part in the fight against the fire; it carried out work in Onchevi-Tsola. They rescuers managed to localize the fire in the village of Chkumi, extinguishing is underway in Lailashi. The lower forest cover is burning, firefighters are working with the help of individual special equipment, Novosti-Gruziya reports.
