CEC of Kyrgyzstan: 99% of ballots processed, 6 parties are in the Parliament
In Kyrgyzstan the parliamentary elections have finished, all the polls closed at 20:00 local time.
According to the first information of the CEC, after processing of 99% of the votes cast, the lead goes to the Social Democratic Party. It received 26% of the votes. The Ata-Jurt party is second with more than 20% of the votes, third is the Kyrgyzstan Party (12.73%), the fourth is Onuguu (9.19%), then Bir Bol (8.5%). The Ata-Mesen party is sixth with 7.9% of the votes, Tass reports.
According to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, a party has to cross a 7-percent barrier in order enter the parliament.
