CSKA loses 1:4 to Arsenal in London

Russia’s CSKA Moscow FC lost 1:4 to Arsenal FC in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League’s quarter-final tie at the Emirates Stadium in London on March 5.

Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette each scored twice in the opening 35 minutes, on 9th, 28th and 23rd (penalty), 35th, respectively. CSKA’s Aleksandr Golovin got an away goal, bending a free-kick into the top-right corner (15th).

The return match with Arsenal is scheduled to be played in Moscow on April 12.
