Central Bank assesses oil prices
The Bank of Russia considers the current level of oil prices to be fair, the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shvetsov, said addressing the audience at the All-Russian Week of Financial Literacy.
"With regard to oil prices, we believe they are already high. Today their level is higher than our mid-term forecasts," he said, noting that it is quite fair.
"We do not consider the oil prices low," the representative of the Central Bank said, answering the question of when the oil prices will rise, RIA Novosti reports.
