Daesh could export chemical weapons to West

CIA Director John Brennan said that the Daesh terrorist group has the capabilities to produce chemical weapons, which were used by them in Syria and Iraq.

"We have a number of instances where Daesh has used chemical munitions on the battlefield," Interfax cited him as saying.

"There are reports that Daesh has access to chemical precursors and munitions that they can use," Brennan noted.

Brennan also warned that Daesh can possibly export it to the Western countries. “I think there's always the potential for that. This is why it's so important to cut off the various transportation routes and smuggling routes that they have used," he stressed.
