Davutoglu: the AKP victory has no precedents in the world of democracy
Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu has described the victory of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the parliamentary elections after 14 years in power as a case with no precedents in the history of world democracy. This statement was made at a meeting in Istanbul with supporters of the AKP.
''After the elections in 2002, our results increased steadily. We confidently won many elections. And now, 14 years later, we achieved the results that we had in 2011,'' RIA Novosti cites him.
