Day 2 of FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup starts in Baku

The second day of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup has opened at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

Today, at 12.00 Baku time (11.00 MSK) qualifying competitions in the individual ribbon and clubs events will start. Strongest gymnasts in each category will be awarded at the ceremony at 17.00 (16.00 MSK). 

After the ceremony at 18.00 (17.00 MSK) the gymnasts will perform in qualifying group exercises with three balls and two ropes, at 19.05 (18.05 MSK) awarding ceremony will take place in team all-around.

Some 127 gymnasts from 26 countries are participating in the tournament. Of these, 44 athletes are performing in an individual program, while 83 gymnasts are competing as team members in group exercises. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
