Deputy PM: Russia almost fulfills food imports replacement goal
Russia has almost fulfilled its food imports replacement goal, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev said.
"Time requires a different approach… we need to go beyond the volume of production to quality. We have virtually saturated the shelves with various food," he said, adding that the goal of the national project called imports replacement has been almost fulfilled.
"A new approach must cover the entire agricultural business chain and take into account the agroecology novelties," Prime cited Gordeyev as saying.
