EU to help Ukraine with its decentralization

The European Union may allocate 50 million euro to Ukraine under the Action Document for EU Support to the East of Ukraine.

As expected, the EU will provide these funds to Ukraine to support its decentralization. The document says that the threat of the region's instability spreading to other areas can be reduced by proper financing of the regeneration program.

"There is also a possibility that it will serve as an example that one day will facilitate the reintegration of the regions under the control of the separatists into Ukraine," cited the document as saying.

In addition, the European Union intends to allocate money for civil initiatives aimed at "strengthening social cohesion."
