EU to hold summit with Turkey on migration in early March
The European Union will hold a new summit with Turkey on migration in early March, the European Council President Donald Tusk said.
According to him, the EU member states reaffirmed their commitment on migration in the framework of a joint action plan. "Our action plan is a priority. We need to do everything possible for its successful implementation," Tusk noted.
The head of the European Council reiterated that the independent actions of individual EU countries cannot be a way out of the crisis. "We need a European approach, a European solution. It is the only way to cope with the migration crisis," TASS cited Tusk as saying.
