Extremists killed in Ankara plotting attack on AK Party
Two ISIS terrorists killed during operations on Sunday were plotting attacks on the Justice and Development (AK Party) emergency congress, Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca said.
The terrorists were preparing to target the congress, which was attended by tens of thousands of people, the Anadolu news agency reported.
Police recovered weapons and explosives in the raid. Topaca said the two men, in their 20s, have not been identified yet.
