Fighting for Karabakh has resumed
Military actions have resumed in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the contact line of troops. In particular, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in three directions – Fizuli, Terter and Aghdam.
The village of Baharly located in the Aghdam district is where IDPs were temporarily accomodated. It is reported that one of the shells fired by the Armenia forces reached the territory of the yard of a private house, but fortunately there were no victims.
It is worth noting that earlier the Azerbaijani armed forces unilaterally suspended their counter-offensive on the territories occupied by Armenia, taking into account the appeals of the international structures.
"If the Armenian armed forces won’t stop their provocative actions and shellings of residential areas and military positions then the Azerbaijani armed forces will continue offensive operations with the use of all available resources," the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan reports.
Recall that on the night of April 2nd all the border positions of Azerbaijan were shelled from large-caliber weapons, mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and guns. In addition, a number of shots were fired at settlements near the frontline, densely populated by civilians.
