Free trade negotiations between Georgia and China to be completed in winter
The negotiating process on a free trade area between Georgia and China are quite constructive and will be completed in the winter, the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Dmitry Kumsishvili, said.
The first round of negotiations was held in Tbilisi on February 22-23. The sides discussed the agreement's main directions, as well as the hypothetical schedule of consultations.
"The date of the second round will be confirmed later. Presumably, it will be held in early summer. The third round will be held in the autumn and the final round will be held in the winter," Sputnik Georgia cited Kumsishvili as saying.
Recall, the memorandum on negotiations on a free trade area between Georgia and China was signed in December 2015.
