We were always together, we share the same make-up room until the last day," the actor recalled.

"He was a great, terrific actor, which is very rare. His death is a great tragedy not only for our theater, but for Azerbaijan as a whole. It makes me so sad, but the memory of him, his roles in theater and cinema will remain forever. I hope that everyone will remember him. He was a good friend of mine. We often met outside the theater, at different celebrations, birthdays, weddings. I loved him. He was very kind and sympathetic man, a good partner, a talented actor. For 30 years side by side we have never had any disputes," Safa Mirzagasanov said.

"Fuad Poladov was a whole phenomenon in the Azerbaijani culture. The youth learned from his attitude to the stage, to roles. He graduated an acting course at our university, now his student Maksud Mammadov works at the theater. He was a very talented person. We were in performances of Anton Chekhov's the Cherry Orchard and the Seagull. This will never be forgotten," the People's Artist concluded.
