Gas explosion at school in Turkey's İzmir kills one
A natural gas explosion at a high school in the western Turkish province of İzmir killed one person and wounded four this morning.
The blast occurred while dozens of students were in lessons. A fire broke out shortly after the explosion and firefighters were dispatched to the school along with health officials and police officers. All students were evacuated from the building, Hurriyet Daily reported.
The four wounded were rushed to hospital.
