Georgia reports 1,006 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 1,006 new cases of coronavirus, 1,050 recoveries and 25 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

7,254 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 17,349 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country. 5,857 of the 17,349 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,492 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 254,822 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 244,446 of the 254,822  individuals have recovered, while 3,096 others have died.

3,069 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 689 of the 3,069 patients are in critical condition. 193 of the 689 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 2, 122,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far. 17,801 individuals are in self-isolation, Agenda.ge reported.
