Georgia reports 1,010 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 1,010 new cases of coronavirus, 603 recoveries and 19 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

28,617 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,164 of the 28,617 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13,453 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 366,078 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.59% of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days. 351,747 of the 366,078 patients have recovered, while 5,316 have died from the virus. 

Currently 8,989 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 2,669 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 586 of the 2,669 patients are in critical condition. 158 of the 586 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 5,816,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far, reported.
