Georgia reports 1,194 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 1,194 new cases of coronavirus, 678 recoveries and 22 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

29,709 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 18,220 of the 29,709 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,489 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 365,068 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.5% of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days. 351,144 of the 365,068 patients have recovered, while 5,297 have died from the virus. 

Currently 8,601 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 2,639 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 594 of the 2,639 patients are in critical condition. 158 of the 594 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 7,041 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 5,787,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far. reported.
