Georgia reports 1,392 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 1,392 new cases of coronavirus, 531 recoveries and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

In total, 38,136 tests have been conducted around the country of which 17,650 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20,486 were PCR tests. 

Currently 11,016 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which: 7,109 patients are undergoing treatment at home, 3,054 patients - in hospitals, 853 patients - in the clinical-hotels. In addition, 633 patients are in critical condition of which 164 are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 7,144 individuals are in self-isolation and 71 individuals are under quarantine.

In addition Georgia has confirmed 52 cases of the Delta Covid-19 variant, which was first Confirmed in India. 

Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 372,685 cases of coronavirus, 356,780 recoveries and 5,394 deaths, reported.

Mass vaccination against the Covid-19 started in Georgia on July 5.
